God, why did create me?

Before the beginning, God knew what life was going to be like. He knew what my life was going to be like. He knew that I would drift away, that I would hide my sin, and that I would knowingly sin, thinking, "God will just have to forgive me for what I am about to do," followed by a justification, as if to say that God would understand. He knew that I would look the other way when people wanted to talk about Him, and that I would search for answers and meaning in desperation and hopelessness, looking everywhere but to Him.
Before the beginning, He knew that I would sin - that I would be the person who, in my arrogance, believed I didn’t need Him and that everything I had in life was due to my own hard work and abilities. He knew that I would act in self-centred and self-serving ways at some point in my life. He knew everything, yet He still created me. Why?
I recently spent time with God, writing down all the things He made me aware of that were standing between us. I wrote quite a bit... Some of what I wrote was so painful and deeply embarrassing, that I felt utterly small before God. These were things no one knew, secrets I couldn't share with anyone. I know I've broken God's heart at times.
Because God knew what my life was going to be like, He also knew that He would draw me back to Him and that He would create a hunger for Him in my life. For this reason I recently was able to speak to my Heavenly Father and share everything with Him without shame or guilt. I sat with Him, pouring out my heart, holding nothing back and hiding nothing from Him. I sobbed, feeling that some of the things would be too much for Him, but then God reminded me that He was listening without judgement, ready to forgive every single one of my sins, with love.

The day Jesus died on the cross Jesus’ blood wash shed to wash away all of my sins, not just some of it. The veil of the temple was torn in two. I was reconciled with God; He loves me that much! Jesus was the price God paid so that I could have direct access to our Heavenly Father. The barrier was removed.
The barrier was removed for you too. Jesus’ blood was shed for everyone. We were created because God always knew that he would sacrifice Jesus so that we, His children, could be reconciled with Him. This is His desire.
Reflect on the burdens you carry, even those you believe are too heavy to share. Remember, everything, even what feels unforgivable, can be brought before God. Speak with your Heavenly Father; He wants to forgive you and embrace you with His love. He does not hold your past against you.
“As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.” Psalm 103:12 (NIV).
Jesus is our only hope. With Him you will find true freedom!
If you haven’t yet accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you can decide to turn to Him right now. Turning to Jesus, accepting Him as your Lord and saviour, means you want to turn away from your life as you know it and have a relationship with Jesus. It’s a decision that will change your life, it’s not a once off decision and prayer, but a relationship with Jesus.
When you make this decision, when you bring your sins before Jesus, when you ask Jesus to be your Lord and Saviour and you turn away from your ways and ask for forgiveness, THIS PROMISE IF FOR YOU:
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”
John 3: 16 (NASB 1995).
