The truth . . .

I used to say, “we all have our own truths”, but, was I mistaken.
Today, we embrace an approach that values everyone's 'truth' within the framework of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging. Organisations are required to develop strategies ensuring that each team member has equal opportunities and feels valued.
Often, we follow worldly guidelines without question. Sometimes, even if we disagree with them based on the Word of God, we avoid challenging them out of fear of being excluded, isolated, labelled, or rejected.
As I type these words, I look up through my office window and see the beautiful blue sky that God created. I watch the birds and see how the wind moves through the leaves of the trees.
Did you know that God existed before He created the heavens and the earth on the first day? Yes, heavens - there is more than one. On the first day, God also created light. According to Genesis, which means “in the beginning,” God only created the sun, moon, and stars on the fourth day. As it says in Genesis 1:16, “God made the two great lights, the greater light to govern the day, and the lesser light to govern the night; He made the stars also.” So, there was light before there was a sun.
When I look up and feel the warmth of the sun, see the moon and stars at night, or feel the wind and hear the birds, I am reminded of the one and only living God. When I look in the mirror, I see a person created in His own image. Wherever you go, you experience His creation. No other god has ever done, is doing, or will ever do, what the only living God has done, is doing, and will continue to do.
“God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them.” Genesis 1:27-28. We don’t have to become anything else than the very person God created us to be. When I read the words “in His image” I know that my imperfections, my mistakes, my fears, doubts, weaknesses are all temporary but while I am on earth, the deeper my relationship with God, the more I will live in His image.
In contrast to many organisations’ DEIB policies, speaking about and living your Christianity publicly may lead to rejection, isolation and exclusion. But take heart, have courage and be strong - this life is but temporary. You will receive eternal life should you decide to follow Jesus.
As it is written in James 1:3-4: "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
When Jesus walked the earth as both fully God and fully man, He said, "… and whoever comes to me I will never drive away." (John 6:37, NIV). Jesus will never refuse or reject you. When you seek Him, accept Him as your Saviour, and believe in His resurrection and ascension to heaven, where He is preparing a place for us, you will not be excluded from His love and grace.
This is the truth.
